For my community service project I did something called Lemons for Love. And basically the project was to make enough money at 2 bake sales to buy gift baskets for little kids and people with cancer. I had two days to do the bake sale and it was a lot of work. But if I didn't make enough money we would just donate the money we made to a cancer foundation. I had to make a ton of lemonade and Popsicle's for this. And I had to make all of it in one day! Anyways this project was really fun and a great experiment.

During class we did Mythical Creature Reports and we were supposed to write about our desired creature. My partner Henna and I did our report on the Pegasus. It was really fun to learn all these different things about this creature and learn where it came from and how it came to be! I hope you enjoy our report.
In quarter #2 my table group and I did a mural to represent the African Savanna. We had silhouette images of animals that live there and a river. We also had a chalk sunset with a sun outlined with Golden rim-stones! I liked this project mainly because of all the art work my friends and I put into it!

I chose this project because my group worked very hard. I also chose this due to the fact that it was a really fun and interesting experience. Our civilization was Medieval Europe and our problem was the Black Death (plague). We were to create a food to save or help this civilization's problem while using a GMO food. So, we made pork sandwiches with a beef stew and the GM foods we used were lettuce and onions. These GM foods would contain a vaccination to help cure the plague like some type of medicine.
I am most proud of this piece because it was so much fun to do even though it took a while to do it! This project demonstrates my ability to listen, write, and how to make really nice visual art. I say this because this piece we had to create a crowd appealing PowerPoint as well as a quiz and a whole narrative! We also had to present in front of our peers and describe the WHOLE thing! It was so much fun to do and this was one of my personal favorites from the 4th Quarter!
